Cappella were an Italian/English eurodance group that found international success mainly in the early 1990s. The name Cappella was first used in the year 1987. The main man behind Cappella was the Italian producer Gianfranco Bortolotti of Media Records, with contributions from the likes of Michele Persona and Mauro Picotto. In 1988 the act debuted on the British charts with the song Bauhaus (Push The Beat) - and the following year with Helyom Halib which peaked at #11. Some three years later Cappella returned with Take Me Away, sung by Loleatta Holloway who had also been the uncredited vocalist on the #1 hit Ride On Time by Black Box in 1989.

Busted Up Lyrics

Cappella

Ah, hands in the air keep it up all night long
Ah, hands in the air, and you don't stop to the break of dawn come on

Yo it's time to eject I jump on the set
Hit ya with my rap as I come correct
The fun has just begun I'm the one
Kickin' the flow to the bass and the drums
M-E-D-I-A that's the label
DJ's spinnin' my tracks on their tables
I keep the jam pack from the P to the AM
Watch me slam now who's the man

You are my love, won't let you get away (who's the man)
You are my love, won't let you get away (who's the man)
The melody will put you in trance
Wave your hands come on and dance

Busted up all over 'gain baby, baby
Busted up all over 'gain baby

With the gift to roll I take control
Over your mind your body and soul
Energy club I got you hoppin' non-stoppin'
A mic check one, two, now I'm rockin'
On and on like a train on the move
Don't need to groove just check out the groove

I keep the jam pack from the P to the AM
Watch me slam now who's the man

Yo it's time to eject I jump on the set
Hit ya with my rap as I come correct
The fun has just begun I'm the one
Kickin' the flow to the bass and the drums
M-E-D-I-A that's the label
DJ's spinnin' my tracks on their tables
I keep the jam pack from the P to the AM
Watch me slam now who's the man
